Pioneer Elite TVs and Audio Coming to The Sound Room

What makes someone elite? Is it just a title or is it something more? For instance, when the President is announced in diplomatic situations he is addresses as “His Excellency.” There is no doubt that it takes exceptional qualities to be president and the same goes for the premium line of Pioneer audio and TVs.

Pioneer Elite has been described as the pinnacle in home entertainment, receiving some of the highest reviews possible from writers/reviewers all over the world. Producing audio and now TVs, The Sound Room will begin carrying both product lines starting August 18, which will be kicked off by a launch party that night from 6 to 8 pm.

The TVs will come in 60″ and 70″ and produce the deepest black levels of any large-screen. The color points and temperature are unbelievably accurate with a 72Hz refresh rate.

And the audio, let’s just say the word elite does it justice. Producing receivers, speakers and other audio equipment, this line will be the top available on the market.

While the quality is elite, the price doesn’t need to be. The Pioneer Elite line will run you a little more than other premium brands, but the performance is unrivaled.

The Sound Room Awarded Chesterfield 2010 Business of the Year

Standing out among some of the regions best companies, The Sound Room was named the 2010 Business of the Year by the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce at their annual awards luncheon. Marking the first time the local home audio and video specialty retailer received the award from the 900 member chamber of commerce.

“We had a great year and have been a part of the chamber for many years. Looking around at the other candidates, it makes us feel honored to be chosen,” said David Young, The Sound Room president. “The last few years have been difficult for many in our industry, with some of the biggest names going out of business.”

Many of the most effected retailers have been big-box stores and retailers not embracing change. Being a local custom home audio and video retailer has allowed The Sound Room to respond to the changing needs of their customers and stay on the cutting edge of technology. In 2010, the company added a solar division, 3D TVs and home health care automation.

“We work hard to bring value to our customers and couldn’t have done it without our expert staff,” said Young. “They truly care about giving the customer the best experience possible and work hard to stay knowledgeable about the industry.”

The Sound Room was also named no. 26 on the CE Pro magazine’s Top 100 List of custom retailers and Crestron Dealer of the Year in 2010. According to Young, the company has been able to separate itself from other integrators by keeping prices competitive and simply giving customers the best advice possible.
